Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has a full smoke-free regulation inside & out to maintain a healthy environment for all. Leaving the Terminal to Smoke at DFW: Re-Entering Security

From secure zones at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), customers will need to leave the terminal entirely to access the DFW airport smoking room.

• When leaving your secure area, you have to go through TSA security screening once again. Without that, you cannot access any of their gates or airside locations.

So, allow yourself enough time to complete this process so you don’t miss your flight. Verify that you have at least 45-60 minutes available before you plan to depart during peak hours.
